 small texan logo Greetings Athletes!

We are set for another great race! Will you be joining us?  Event date is Sunday, July 22th @ 8am.  Our event again takes place at Boerne City Lake.  Swim 1500m (please note distance change) in a refreshing clean lake, bike 45k across the rolling hills of our typical hill country terrain and then run a 10k for finish off your race.

You will be proud of your accomplishment and so will we!  Each finisher will receive a custom event finisher's medal to celebrate.  We will also be giving out special awards for the overall male/female winner and for the top three finisher's in each age group according to USAT designations. We will also include awards for the top three finishers in the following categories: Clydesdale open; Clydesdale 50+; and open Relay.

Stick around after your event and enjoy some BBQ sausage and sides!  This is complimentary for all athletes and additional meal tickets can be purchased at a nominal fee for friends and family. The lake facilities will also be available throughout the day.

We look forward to sharing a great day!

Cheers,
Lynda Stewart

Drink Up!
Wow is it ever hot...with temperatures reaching triple digits it becomes especially important to pay attention to hydration.  You will find water at the transition area as you exit for both the bike and run portions of the event.  DRINK as you pass.  There will be a water hand up at the halfway point on the ride.  Plan to be empty with the water you are already carrying on your bike so you can fill up.  Don't pass this area without getting water.  On the run our friends from RUN WILD SPORTS will be manning the aid stations every mile along the course so... Drink Drink Drink! At the finish line we will also have water available.
