Absolute Perfection

The bicycle is history’s most focused, purpose-built machine—continuously refined, engineered and honed for more than a century. This is the latest chapter. Twenty years ago steel was the norm. Aluminum was an exotic material. And Kestrel launched the first all-carbon bike. We didn’t just raise the bar. We rewrote the entire book on performance, redefining everything about the bicycle: weight, stiffness, efficiency and even the form of the bicycle itself.

This year’s Kestrels build on that 20-year legacy. From our all-new RT700 to the freshly minted Evoke SL, from Chris McCormack’s Airfoil Pro through the rest of our lineup, these bikes reflect every ounce of hard-fought experience we have. We have the most experienced carbon engineering team in cycling, and it shows in every way. From the big-picture stuff like optimized carbon layup schedules to the small details like custom cable guides and dropouts, nobody does it better. Because nobody else can.

Speed is an absolute. And Kestrel is the absolute authority.

RT700 Evoke SL Evoke
If you’re looking for the ultimate balance of road bike performance, ride quality, aerodynamic versatility and refined design, the new RT700 is for you. The RT is the latest take on the classic no-compromise Kestrel road racer, combining the stiffness and response of the Evoke series frames with the silky ride and proven aerodynamics of the Talon series and Airfoil Pro rocketships. The RT700 is the best of all worlds, for all types of road riding and racing. If you’re all about an ultra-light bike that can climb, corner and sprint without peer, get on an Evoke SL. The lightest Kestrel frame ever at a scant 960 grams, yet the Evoke SL retains the demanding performance attributes – and full Lifetime Warranty – of the “standard” Evoke. Whether it’s steep mountain climbs, long days in the saddle or fast-paced racing, the Evoke SL can do it and do it light. If you're a hardcore roadie or serious road racer, the Evoke is your best choice. It's lightweight, hyper-efficient, and features proven road-racing geometry that makes quick work of criteriums and technical descents. If you want a bike with razor-sharp handling, relentlessly efficient power transfer and a ride that won't beat you up (and let's face it, who doesn't?), get your hands on an Evoke.

Talon SL   Talon
If you're a serious road racer, and also compete in time trials or triathlons, the Talon SL is the best bike you can get anywhere. Its crisp geometry is stable enough for long TTs with aero bars and aero wheels, but it can still carve a hard corner in criteriums. With a forward-set seatpost the Talon SL's steep seat angle provides a triathlete's forward position, but with a standard seatpost it's a TT-legal platform for UCI/USCF events as well.   If performance road riding is your game the Talon is the best, most versatile high-performance bike available. It shares the Talon SL's geometry, so you get geometry that works for road racing and time trials alike, and the versatility of standard saddle positioning as well as a forward-set triathlete's riding posture. Supple ride, efficient power transfer and sleek aerodynamics make the Talon fast, in all conditions.

Airfoil Pro Talon SL Aero Talon Aero

If you're a serious triathlete there's no better bike than the Airfoil Pro. Its cleanly sculpted aero shape is a wind-tunnel and racecourse proven speed advantage. Dedicated tri geometry puts you in a power position over the pedals, with stable handling when you're hammering on the aero bars. It’s the fastest Kestrel ever.

If you need a time trial machine for UCI/USCF events the Talon SL Aero is the ultimate bike. Its aero frame features TT-legal geometry, with a lightweight heft and wickedly efficient power transfer, capped by a smooth ride. This is the most versatile bike in the Kestrel stable, with road-racing handling and an aero package that's more performance than compromise. If you want a pro-level carbon Tri/TT bike at an entry-level price, the Talon Aero is your best option. It features the same aero shape as the Talon SL, for crushing aero efficiency, but uses 700k carbon fiber for added durability, and a lighter hit on the wallet. Call it a TT bike you can road race, or a road racer you can time trial on-either way, it's a fast, versatile bike that will let you perform at your best.
